Job summary

Children Making Strides in Cumming, GA is seeking an ABA Therapist/Behavior Technician to provide therapy to children with autism in home, daycare and clinic settings during 4:00pm-6:30pm sessions. You will draft progress reports and support communication with senior health professionals, helping children develop communication and social skills through engaging sessions in a family-centered approach.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Associate's degree in a related field (or related ABA experience) preferred but not required.
  • Must have a valid driver's license, registered vehicle and active car insurance.

Session Schedule: Monday-Friday from 4:00pm-6:30pm
Sign on Bonus: $500 after 90 days of employment

Job Summary:

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team as Behavioral Therapists for children with autism, aged 2-9, in home, daycare and center-based settings. As an ABA Therapist/Behavior Technician, you will provide ABA therapy services to children, creating engaging and fun learning experiences, and drafting reports to relay their progress to senior health professionals.

Physical Requirements:
  • Maintain close, continuous proximity to clients throughout sessions.
  • Respond quickly to elopement attempts and behavioral crises, including physical intervention when necessary.
  • Perform prolonged standing, walking, kneeling, crouching, and floor-level work.
  • Provide continuous, uninterrupted supervision of clients throughout scheduled sessions.
