Job summary

Children Making Strides in Commerce, Georgia seeks ABA Therapists/Behavior Technicians to provide in-home, daycare and center-based ABA therapy for children aged 2–9. You will draft progress reports for senior professionals and help children develop communication and social skills in a supportive setting.

Qualifications

• Must have empathy, patience and creativity to work with children with autism.
• Ability to communicate effectively with families and health professionals.
• Experience or exposure to ABA and/or working with young children is preferred.

Session Schedule: Starting end of September Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday 11:00AM-2:00PM and Thursday and Friday 9:00AM-1:00PM

Sign on Bonus: $500 after 90 days of employment

As an ABA Therapist/Behavior Technician, you will provide ABA therapy services to children, creating engaging and fun learning experiences, and drafting reports to relay their progress to senior health professionals.

• Bachelor's or Associates degree in a related field (or related experience with ABA and/or young children) preferred but not required.
• Must have a valid driver's license, a registered vehicle and active car insurance.

Physical Requirements:

• Maintain close, continuous proximity to clients throughout sessions.
• Respond quickly to elopement attempts and behavioral crises, including physical intervention when necessary.
• Perform prolonged standing, walking, kneeling, crouching, and floor-level work.
• Provide continuous, uninterrupted supervision of clients throughout scheduled sessions.
