Step Ahead ABA is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) for Iowa statewide Fast Track Placement. Join a pool that covers all of Iowa and hear about new cases days before posting.

You’ll have first refusal on suitable cases, be matched to your available hours, and work with a BCBA-supervised treatment plan before starting. Earn $21–$23/hour billable, plus $10/hour non-billable training/time, with progressive raises as you level up.

Step Ahead ABA provides in-home, school, and community ABA therapy for children and teens on the autism spectrum, across Hawaii, Indiana, Iowa, Nebraska, North Carolina, Oklahoma, and Virginia.

Job Description

This posting is how you join Step Ahead ABA's Fast Track Placement pool for Iowa. It is not one client case and it is not tied to one city — it covers the whole state, and it stays open all year.

Apply once and you are in the pool. From then on, every time a client case opens anywhere in Iowa, our placement team works this pool before the case is posted publicly — so you hear about it first.

PAY IN IOWA

• $21-23/hour billable
• $10/hour for non-billable time, which is training and required meetings — a small share of the week

You know both numbers before you accept a case, and the RBT Leveling System raises your rate at every level.

WHAT FAST TRACK PLACEMENT GETS YOU

Cases do not go public first. When a family is ready for an RBT, our placement team works Fast Track Placement before the case is posted to a job board. Being in the pool means:

• You hear about a case days before it is advertised anywhere
• You get first refusal on cases that match your area and your availability
• You are matched on the schedule you already told us you can work
• When several people could take a case, pool members are contacted first

New cases open every week.

HOW IT WORKS

You apply once and tell us two things: your ZIP code and when you can work. When a case opens that fits both, our placement team contacts you directly. You are never applying blind to a posting that has already been filled — we come to you.

Our current RBTs get first look at every new case. Fast Track Placement is next, ahead of public postings.
