Overview

Thrive Behavior Centers is a locally owned company, founded in 2020. The Behavior Technician (BT) is a valued part of our team and the clients therapy team. As such, the BT is responsible for providing direct ABA therapy to clients under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Our clients are children ages two to ten diagnosed with Autism who need extra care and support to navigate the world. Responsibilities
  1. Implement ABA therapy programs under supervision, ensuring client safety and engagement.
  2. Administer behavioral interventions and protocols, especially for clients with significant communication or safety needs.
  3. Build rapport with clients through reinforcement and engaging activities.
  4. Respect client dignity and communicate professionally with families and colleagues.
  5. Apply ABA techniques accurately, respond to feedback, and maintain documentation using clinical software.
  6. Assist with physical needs and personal care of clients.
  7. Adhere to safety protocols, ethical standards, and company policies, including BACB ethics and confidentiality.
  8. Complete all required documentation and training, and maintain RBT certification.
  9. Create session and daily notes, and participate in team tasks and training.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED; Bachelors preferred.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • Obtain RBT certification within 60 days of employment and maintain it.
  • Current CPR/AED or BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
