Job summary

Little Champs ABA is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our growing team for afternoon hours. This role involves providing ABA therapy in clients' homes, schools, or community settings under supervision of BCBAs.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality ABA therapy directly with clients in homes, schools, or community settings.
• Help learners gain life skills to increase independence (communication, daily living, potty training, social/emotional, play, vocational).
• Teach new communication skills and replacement behaviors using evidence-based techniques.
• Collect accurate data and write detailed session notes for BCBA decisions.
• Attend scheduled RBT sessions reliably.
• Participate in ongoing trainings.

Hourly Wages:

• $25-32/hour

Qualifications and Skills:

• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certification (required)

• High school or equivalent diploma or transcripts

• Reliable transportation

• Ability to interact, engage, and have fun with individuals with disabilities

• Desire to learn and work independently at times

Duties of the Registered Behavior Technician (RBT):

• Provide high-quality, interactive ABA therapy directly with clients by being a licensed RBT of varying ages in a variety of settings including the client’s home, school, and/or the community.

• Help learners gain life skills that will increase the learner’s independence (communication, daily living, potty training, social/emotional skills, play skills, vocational skills)

• Teach learners new communication skills and replacement behaviors through the use of evidence-based techniques to reduce challenging behaviors.

• Collect accurate data and meet data collection minimums for the services provided, as well as write detailed session notes in order to inform decisions made by BCBAs.

• Reliably attends scheduled RBT sessions

• Participate in ongoing trainings
