Job summary

MedCare Pediatric Group, LP is seeking entry level Behavior Technicians to support children with autism and developmental disabilities. You will work one-on-one and in small groups to build communication, social, and daily living skills using ABA.

The role emphasizes patience, consistency, and a positive attitude. You will receive extensive training, attend staff meetings, and collaborate with parents and supervisors while maintaining data records.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma.
• 1+ years of experience and/or exposure to working with children.
• Comfortable working with children or individuals with special needs.
• Experience working with children or individuals with special needs (preferred).
• Ability and commitment to complete a 40-hour training course with us to obtain certification.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
• Maintain a highly professional, positive attitude and demonstrate reliability and punctuality.
• Pass a background check.
• Provide direct care to clients in both one-on-one and group settings, following behavior reduction plans and protocols.
• Collect behavior and skill acquisition data using company-issued tablets and complete daily session notes.
• Communicate effectively with coworkers, supervisors, and parents while attending staff meetings and trainings.

Entry Level Behavior Technician Qualifications & Responsibilities:
