MedCare Pediatric in Stafford, Texas, seeks an Entry Level Behavior Technician to work one-on-one with children, building communication, social, and daily living skills through ABA. The role is rewarding, requiring patience and enthusiasm, with strong support for growth in the position.

The position involves direct care in one-on-one and group settings, data collection using tablets, and collaboration with parents and staff.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 1+ years of experience and/or exposure to working with children
• Able to complete a 40-hour training course to obtain certification
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting
• Maintain a professional, positive attitude and demonstrate reliability and punctuality
• Must pass a background check

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to clients in one-on-one and group settings, following behavior plans and protocols
• Collect behavior and skill data using company-issued tablets and complete daily session notes
• Communicate effectively with coworkers, supervisors, and parents during staff meetings and trainings

Entry Level Behavior Technician Qualifications & Responsibilities:

• High School Diploma
• 1+ years of experience and/or exposure to working with children
• Comfortable working with children or individuals with special needs
• Experience working with children or individuals with special needs (preferred)
• Ability and commitment to complete a 40-hour training course with us to obtain certification
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting
• Maintain a highly professional, positive attitude and demonstrate reliability and punctuality
• Must pass a background check
• Provide direct care to clients in both one-on-one and group settings, following behavior reduction plans and protocols
• Collect behavior and skill acquisition data using company-issued tablets and complete daily session notes
• Communicate effectively with coworkers, supervisors, and parents while attending staff meetings and trainings
