Job summary

Blue Gems ABA is seeking an RBT to provide 1:1 ABA therapy to children with ASD in home, school, or clinic settings. You will implement behavior plans and collect progress data, working closely with a supervising BCBA and families to ensure skill generalization.

The role requires an active RBT certification or eligibility, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a valid driver’s license. Experience with autism and strong communication skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Behavior Technician (or eligibility to obtain certification).
• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's in Psychology/Education a plus.
• Experience with children with autism or developmental delays preferred; valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver 1:1 ABA therapy to children in home, school, or clinic.
• Implement behavior intervention plans and skill-acquisition programs designed by the supervising BCBA.
• Collect accurate, real-time data on client progress using clinical software.
• Collaborate with supervising BCBAs, families, and caregivers to ensure consistency and generalization of skills.
• Maintain a safe, positive, and engaging environment for the child during sessions.

Job Requirements

• Certification: Active Registered Behavior Technician (or eligibility to obtain certification)
• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required (Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, or a related field is a plus).
• Experience: Experience working with children with autism or developmental delays preferred.Reliability: Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
