Job summary

Blue Gems ABA is seeking a dedicated Registered Behavior Technician to provide 1:1 ABA therapy for children with ASD in home, school, or clinic settings. You will implement individualized behavior plans under supervision of a BCBA and collect data on client progress.

You will collaborate with families, caregivers, and the clinical team to ensure consistency and generalization of skills, maintaining a safe, engaging environment for sessions across settings.

Qualifications

• Active RBT certification or eligible to obtain it.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree is a plus.
• Experience with children with autism or developmental delays preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, 1:1 ABA therapy to clients.
• Implement behavior intervention plans and skill programs designed by supervising BCBA.
• Collect accurate real-time data on client progress using clinical software.
• Collaborate with supervising BCBAs, families, and caregivers for consistency.

Job Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with supervising BCBAs, families, and caregivers to ensure consistency and generalization of skills.
• Maintain a safe, positive, and engaging environment for the child during sessions.

Job Requirements

• Certification: Active Registered Behavior Technician (or eligibility to obtain certification)
• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required (Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, or a related field is a plus).
• Experience: Experience working with children with autism or developmental delays preferred.Reliability: Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
