Job summary

Aviation ABA Therapy in Utah is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide in-home ABA therapy to children in West Valley City and West Jordan. You’ll work one-on-one, building communication, social, and daily living skills under supervision.

You’ll receive BCBA guidance, opportunities toward BCBA certification, paid time off, and a supportive culture as you help children thrive.

Qualifications

• Active RBT certification or willingness to certify with our support.
• Reliable transportation within West Valley City and West Jordan.
• Ability to kneel, squat, sit on the floor, and lift up to 25 lbs.
• Comfortable using a tablet/iPad for data collection.
• Strong communication and a passion for working with children.

Responsibilities

• Deliver 1:1 in-home ABA therapy as directed by the supervising BCBA.
• Implement skill-building programs using play-based and structured teaching.
• Collect and record data electronically after each session.
• Communicate with the BCBA and the clinical team regularly.
• Participate in parent training sessions and generalization activities as needed.
• Assist with assessments, therapy prep, and session organization.
• Follow individualized behavior intervention plans and safety protocols.
• Maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality (HIPAA compliance).
• Step into lead therapist responsibilities when requested.

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Position Overview

As a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) with Aviation ABA Therapy, you’ll provide in-home ABA therapy to children and families in West Valley City and West Jordan. You’ll work 1:1 with clients to strengthen communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based ABA strategies. Requirements

• Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification (or willingness to become certified with our support)

• Reliable transportation within West Valley City and West Jordan

• Ability to kneel, squat, sit on the floor, and lift up to 25 lbs

• Comfortable using a tablet/iPad for electronic data collection

• Strong communication skills and a passion for working with children

• Eligible to work in the U.S., with valid driver’s license and insurance
