Job summary

The Greater Cincinnati School Application Consortium is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician to collaborate with student teams to develop and implement intervention strategies for the classroom and school environment. The RBT provides classroom and building-wide behavior support and coordinates with counselors, social workers, and admin when extra help is needed.

This role supports principals with building-wide consequences and works with Board Certified Behavior Analysts to ensure behavior

Qualifications

• RBT certification in good standing with BACB.
• Ohio Department of Education licensure (specific licensure TBD).
• High school diploma minimum; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• At least 1 year of RBT experience, preferably in a school setting.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with educational teams to implement classroom behavior strategies.
• Provide classroom and building-wide behavior support and escalate when needed.
• Assist administrators with building-wide consequences and discipline as needed.
• Work with BCBA to ensure fidelity of behavior intervention plans (BIP) and updates.
• Foster positive behavioral outcomes and a safe, inclusive learning environment.

Job description

• Position Type: Related Services/ Behavioral Health

This individual collaborates with each student's educational team in the development and implementation of intervention strategies for the classroom and school environment. The RBT provides classroom and building-wide behavior support, and delegates what additional assistance may be necessary when support calls are made (i.e. school counselor,therapist, social worker,Admin, ISS, etc.). This individual will support the Principals and Assistant Principals with building-wide consequences as needed and work closely with the Board Certified Behavior Analysts to ensure behavior intervention plans are being followed with fidelity/updated as needed. This position's focus is to help foster positive behavioral outcomes, and maintain a safe and inclusive learningenvironment.

• Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician whose credentials are in good standing withthe BACB.
• Licensure with the Ohio Department of Education. Specific licensure TBD regarding education level.
• High school diploma minimum, Bachelor's degreepreferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as an RBT or equivalent,preferably within a schoolsettin g.

Pay Range: $29,307 -$41,341 (*This position also has a yearly stipend of $6,000.)
