Job summary

Kinfolk ABA in McLean, NC is seeking a compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our family-focused team. This part-time, evening role offers 20-22 hours per week and pay between $26 and $28 per hour, with opportunities to grow through training and certification support.

You will provide 1:1 ABA therapy in clients’ homes, collect progress data, and collaborate with BCBA supervisors and families to meet individual goals while maintaining a safe, ethical environment.

Qualifications

• 40-hour ABA training or equivalent preferred.
• RBT certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
• Experience with children in ABA is a plus.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 ABA therapy to clients in-home.
• Implement treatment plans designed by BCBA.
• Collect and document data on client progress.
• Collaborate with families and team members to ensure client success.
• Maintain a safe and positive environment during sessions.
• Assist in developing individualized treatment goals based on assessments.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines.

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 ABA therapy to clients in-home

• Implement treatment plans designed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

• Collect and document data on client progress.

• Collaborate with families and team members to ensure client success.

• Maintain a safe and positive environment during therapy sessions.

• Assist in the development of individualized treatment goals and objectives based on client needs and assessment findings.

• Maintain confidentiality of client information and adhere to ethical guidelines and professional standards at all times.

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Compensation and Schedule:

• Pay Range:$26 - $28 per hour

• Part-Time:20-22 hours/week

• Shifts:Evening

• Location:McLean, NC

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Skills and Qualifications:

• Must have completed 40-hour training course in applied behavior analysis (ABA)

• Best to have, or be willing to obtain Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification.

• High School Diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.

• Previous experience in ABA therapy or working with children is a plus but not required.

• Ability to pass background check.

• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally
