Job summary

The Place for Children with Autism in Aurora, IL is seeking a Behavior Therapist to work 1:1 with children aged 2-8 with ASD, implementing therapy programs designed by BCBA teams, collecting data, and collaborating with the clinical staff to adjust strategies.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a HS diploma or GED.
• RBT certification is supported and paid by the employer.
• Willing to work in-person at multiple clinic locations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Work 1:1 with children aged 2-8 with ASD to develop communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Implement therapy programs designed by BCBA teams; collect data and discuss progress.
• Engage children using play, movement, and positive reinforcement to promote growth.

What We Offer

Competitive Pay Based On Your Experience & Education

• High School orAssociate’s Degree: $17.05 – $23.00 per hour, with $1.00 per hour increases every six months (based on your starting level at hire).
• Master’s Degree: $18.00 – $24.00 per hour.
• Eligibility to participate in the Shared Success Bonus Plan, with quarterly bonuses being paid after you obtain your RBT certification.

• Work 1:1 with children between the ages of 2-8 withAutism Spectrum Disorder(ASD), helping them learn communication, social, anddaily-livingskills.
• Implement individualized therapy programs designed by our Board-Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), collect data, and participate in team discussions around progress and strategy.
• Bring energy, creativity, and passion – Using play, movement, and laughter to engage children while promoting skill-building and growth.
• Partner with clients and their families in celebrating wins, problem-solving challenges, and promoting each child’s growth.

• Energeticteam players who show up ready to engage and move with children throughout their sessions – This includes bending, squatting,lifting upto 30 pounds, and keeping pace with energetic young learners during play and activities.

• Must be at least 18 years old and hold a minimum of a High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Have accessibility to reliable transportation with a valid driver’s license and insurance, and be able to travel to other clinics to support when assigned.
