Job summary

Creative Therapy Solution in Scottsdale, AZ is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician to join our BCBA-owned practice focused on helping children develop self-determination through evidence-based assessments and treatments. You will implement skill acquisition and behavior-reduction plans, maintain daily documentation, and collaborate with supervising BCBA.

Travel to multiple sites is required up to 50%, and full-time hours with a salary of $20–$25 per hour are offered.

Qualifications

Fingerprint clearance card (background check) required.
Complete a 40-hour training program (RBT) based on the RBT Task List.
Pass the RBT Competency Assessment.
Reliable transportation with valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
Must be able to travel to multiple work sites (office, home, school, community).
Must be able to lift, push and pull up to 35 pounds.
Must be able to move between locations and assist clients (sitting to standing, kneeling, etc.).
All employees must follow safety rules and pass a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

Direct implementation of skill acquisition and behavior-reduction plans developed by the supervisor.
Accurately complete required documentation and data collection daily.
Complete online billing according to insurance codes and submit within timeframe.
Meet regularly with Supervisor and participate in consultations in-person with client and BCBA.
Attend introductory and ongoing training.
Communicate professionally and respectfully with clients, parents, behavior analysts, and community members.

Minimum Requirements:

Complete a fingerprint clearance card.
Complete a 40-hour training program (conducted by a BACB certificant) based on the RBT Task List.
Pass the RBT Competency Assessment
Reliable transportation (proof of valid driver’s license and auto insurance required)
Must be able to travel to multiple work sites, including offices, homes, schools, and other locations in the community.
Must be able to lift, push and pull a minimum of 35 pounds.
The position requires physically prompting clients and requires the ability to move quickly from one location to another to support the client and staff. In addition, transitioning from a seated position on the floor to standing, squatting, kneeling, twisting, bending, and reaching.
All employees are expected to follow all safety rules and policies.
Pass a criminal background check.
