Maxim Healthcare is hiring a Behavioral Technician to work one-on-one with children and/or adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder and similar developmental delays. Responsibilities include helping with social and communication skills, documenting progress, and implementing plans from BCBA professionals.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 18 years of age or older.
• Experience working with children in relevant roles preferred.
• Passion for working with children with special needs and strong communication skills.

• Help children work on social skills, communication skills, and repetitive or restrictive behaviors.
• Document child progress and milestones.
• Follow and implement behavior change plans created by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs).

• Completion of college coursework in one of the following programs: psychology, education, social work, behavioral science, human development, or a minimum of one year experience working with children in the following capacities: Child Development, Camp Counselor, Paraprofessional, Behavioral Interventionist, ABA Therapist, or Behavior Technician required
