Academy For Effective Behavior Intervention, a Finni Health company, is hiring a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) for in-clinic work in Newport News, VA. The role involves delivering ABA therapy under BCBA supervision, collecting session data, and helping clients develop life, communication, and social skills in a structured setting.

The position offers a full-time schedule, weekday hours 9:00 AM–5:00 PM, competitive pay $26 per hour, and supervision toward BCBA/BCaBA certification along

Competenze

• Active RBT Certification (Preferred).
• RBT Training (40-hour course completed).
• Experience with children or individuals with special needs (preferred).
• Experience with data collection and familiarity with ABA terminology (preferred).
• Understanding of HIPAA regulations and confidentiality practices (required).
• Experience with behavior management strategies and ABA techniques (preferred).
• A background in special education, psychology, or related field (beneficial).

About The Role

As an RBT, you will provide individualized ABA therapy under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). You’ll work closely with clients to implement treatment plans, track progress, and support the development of essential life, communication, and social skills in a structured and encouraging environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement individualized ABA treatment plans under BCBA supervision
• Collect and record accurate session data
• Support skill development and behavior-reduction goals
• Maintain professionalism and positive rapport with clients and families
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities related to ABA and special education

Qualifications

• Active RBT Certification (Preferred)
• RBT Training (40-hour course completed)
• Previous experience working with children or individuals with special needs (preferred)
• Experience with data collection and familiarity with ABA terminology (preferred)
• Understanding of HIPAA regulations and confidentiality practices (required)
• Experience with behavior management strategies and applied behavior analysis techniques (preferred)
