Job summary

Aviation ABA Therapy is hiring a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to support in-home ABA therapy for children in Layton, Kaysville, and Farmington, UT. You will work under a supervising BCBA, delivering 1:1 services and collecting data across assigned clients.

The role offers flexible scheduling based on caseload, competitive hourly pay, and direct BCBA guidance. PTO accrual, career growth, and a collaborative team culture are emphasized to support your professional development.

Qualifications

  • Active RBT certification required (or willingness to obtain with company support)
  • High school diploma or equivalent (required); psychology/education coursework preferred
  • Reliable transportation within Layton, Kaysville, Farmington and surrounding areas
  • Ability to kneel, squat, sit on the floor, and lift up to 25 lbs
  • Comfortable using tablets/iPads for data collection
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Genuine passion for working with children with autism and developmental disabilities
  • Eligible to work in the United States with a valid driver's license and insurance

Responsibilities

  • Deliver individualized 1:1 ABA therapy in clients' homes as directed by supervising BCBA
  • Implement skill-building programs using play-based and structured teaching methods (DTT, NET)
  • Collect and record behavioral data electronically using tablets/iPads after each session
  • Communicate regularly with your BCBA and the clinical team regarding client progress
  • Participate in parent training sessions, team meetings, and generalization activities
  • Assist with assessments, materials preparation, and therapy session organization
  • Follow individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) and safety protocols
  • Maintain professional boundaries and uphold client confidentiality (HIPAA compliance)
  • Step into lead therapist responsibilities when requested
