Job summary

Solving Autism, LLC. is seeking caring and energetic individuals for Registered Behavior Technician roles in the South Charlotte area, with evenings 2:00 PM–6:00 PM preferred. You will work one-on-one with learners in homes, clinics, or the community.

RBTs implement ABA under a treatment plan, collect data, and receive paid training with ongoing support. Paid training available; six-month commitment encouraged. We value teamwork, reliability, and a strong work ethic.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children, especially with learners having ASD or developmental disabilities.
• Strong communication skills and professional conduct.
• Team player with reliable transportation and flexible mindset.
• Multitasking ability with a strong work ethic.
• Evening availability 2:00 PM–6:00 PM is preferred.
• Commitment to at least six months and willingness to complete RBT training.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one ABA sessions with learners in homes, clinics or community settings.
• Collect data and monitor progress according to each child's treatment plan.
• Follow treatment protocols and collaborate with supervisors and teammates.
• Participate in paid training and ongoing support.

Supporting Autism is actively seeking caring and energetic individuals in the South Charlotte area for Registered Behavior Technician roles! Afternoon availability is strongly preferred, with 2:00 PM -6:00 PM being the ideal availability. Our company provides ABA Therapy throughout the Charlotte Metro area, with opportunities to work one on one with learners in their home, in the community, or in one of our clinics.

RBT's play a critical role in the lives of the children we serve! RBT's work in a one-on-one setting to provide highly individualized skill building and learning opportunities in accordance with each child's treatment plan. Supporting Autism prides itself on implementing best-practices with a whole-child approach to learning. We utilize positive reinforcement techniques and incorporate a blend of natural environment teaching practices with discrete trial instruction methods. RBT's also play an important role in data collection. Training and on-going support is provided and is paid time.

Paid training is provided for candidates new to the field, and current RBT’s are always encouraged to apply. Our privately owned company takes pride in supporting learners and therapists throughout their ABA journey. Come join our team!

An ideal candidate will:

• Have experience working with children (with priority given to individuals with experience working in ABA, with learners having Autistic Spectrum Disorder, developmental disabilities or behavior challenges).
• Demonstrate strong communication skills and conduct themselves in a professional manner.
• Operate as a member of team.
• Have reliable transportation.
• Possess a sense of humor and a strong work ethic.
• Demonstrate skill in multi-tasking.
• Show flexibility in thinking and an open mind for continued learning.
• Be willing to commit to this role for at least six months.
• Complete and maintain First Aid and CPR certification (training provided).
• Have availability that includes evenings between 2:00 – 6:00 PM.
• Complete RBT training (40 hours of on-line modules, paid training) and submit to the RBT exam.

• 403 E. Main Street, Rock Hill, SC

This role is a great learning experience for students and professionals going into education, psychology or counseling roles. Scheduling and number of hours available are specific to each client. Pay rate is based upon experience.
