Job summary

Supporting Autism actively seeks caring, energetic individuals for Registered Behavior Technician roles in the South Charlotte area. The position emphasizes afternoon availability between 2:00 PM and 6:00 PM and opportunities to work with learners in home, clinic, or community settings throughout the Charlotte Metro area.

As an RBT, you will work one-on-one to implement treatment plans, collect data, and use positive reinforcement techniques.

Qualifications

  • Experience working with children, preferably in ABA or behavior-related settings.
  • Strong communication and professional conduct.
  • Reliable teamwork and transportation.
  • Willingness to commit to role for six months.
  • Evening availability between 2:00 PM–6:00 PM.

Responsibilities

  • Provide one-on-one ABA sessions following each child’s treatment plan.
  • Collect and record data to track progress.
  • Support learners in home, clinic, or community settings.
  • Maintain positive reinforcement strategies and safety protocols.

Supporting Autism is actively seeking caring and energetic individuals in the South Charlotte area for Registered Behavior Technician roles! Afternoon availability is strongly preferred, with 2:00 PM -6:00 PM being the ideal availability. Our company provides ABA Therapy throughout the Charlotte Metro area, with opportunities to work one on one with learners in their home, in the community, or in one of our clinics.

RBT's play a critical role in the lives of the children we serve! RBT's work in a one-on-one setting to provide highly individualized skill building and learning opportunities in accordance with each child's treatment plan. Supporting Autism prides itself on implementing best-practices with a whole-child approach to learning. We utilize positive reinforcement techniques and incorporate a blend of natural environment teaching practices with discrete trial instruction methods. RBT's also play an important role in data collection. Training and on-going support is provided and is paid time.

Paid training is provided for candidates new to the field, and current RBT's are always encouraged to apply. Our privately owned company takes pride in supporting learners and therapists throughout their ABA journey. Come join our team!

An ideal candidate will:

  • Have experience working with children (with priority given to individuals with experience working in ABA, with learners having Autistic Spectrum Disorder, developmental disabilities or behavior challenges).
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills and conduct themselves in a professional manner.
  • Operate as a member of team.
  • Have reliable transportation.
  • Possess a sense of humor and a strong work ethic.
  • Demonstrate skill in multi-tasking.
  • Show flexibility in thinking and an open mind for continued learning.
  • Be willing to commit to this role for at least six months.
  • Complete and maintain First Aid and CPR certification (training provided).
  • Have availability that includes evenings between 2:00 - 6:00 PM.
  • Complete RBT training (40 hours of on-line modules, paid training) and submit to the RBT exam.

  • 111 Clebourne Street, Fort Mill, SC.
  • 403 E. Main Street, Rock Hill, SC

This role is a great learning experience for students and professionals going into education, psychology or counseling roles. Scheduling and number of hours available are specific to each client. Pay rate is based upon experience.
