Job summary

Alight Behavioral Therapy in Forest City, NC is seeking a motivated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to work with children in home-based ABA therapy under BCBA supervision. This role focuses on implementing behavioral plans, collecting data, and supporting families to maximize progress.

The position is part-time with flexible scheduling, a collaborative team environment, and ongoing training to expand your skills in autism intervention. Previous experience with autism is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certified by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team in Forest City, North Carolina. As an RBT, you will work closely with our Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and other therapists to provide high-quality ABA therapy services to children with autism spectrum disorder. You will be responsible for implementing behavioral plans, collecting and recording data, and communicating with families and team members to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Must be a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certified by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., psychology, special education, behavior analysis) preferred
• Previous experience working with children with autism spectrum disorder or other developmental disabilities is a plus
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
