A Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is a paraprofessional certification in behavior analysis. RBTs assist in delivering treatment plans for individuals with a variety of behavioral needs, including autism spectrum disorders (ASD), brain injuries, Alzheimer's disease, and addiction. RBTs work with BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analysts) as part of a clinical team to implement treatment plans that support the growth and success of their clients. RBTs help clients learn practical and necessary skills in areas such as safety, communication, self-advocacy, and independence. Certified RBTs frequently work in various settings, including private homes, schools, clinics, and community settings.
Where & When: Hybrid 2/10 - 6/1, 5:30 - 7:30pm
This program will prepare candidates to sit for the RBT national certification test. Candidates will learn the foundations of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and will be taught by a licensed and experienced BCBA.
