Job summary

HireCare Services is seeking compassionate Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to provide 1:1 in-home ABA therapy in Burlington, NC and surrounding areas. This part-time role offers flexibility, mentorship from BCBAs, and opportunities for growth.

You will deliver individualized ABA plans under supervision, help children develop communication and daily living skills, collect data, and maintain professional notes and relationships with families and the BCBA team.

Qualifications

• Active RBT certification — or willingness to obtain certification (training support provided)
• Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities (preferred)
• Strong communication, patience, and professionalism
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
• High school diploma or equivalent (required)

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 in-home ABA therapy under supervision of a BCBA

What You’ll Do as an RBT

As a Registered Behavior Technician, you’ll provide 1:1 in‑home ABA therapy under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Your work helps children reach important developmental goals through structured teaching, play, and positive reinforcement.

You will:

• Deliver individualized ABA treatment plans created by your supervising BCBA
• Support children in developing communication, social, and daily living skills
• Collect accurate data during each session
• Share updates and progress with your BCBA team
• Complete clear and timely session notes
• Build warm, supportive relationships with children and families
• Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and ethical standards

What We’re Looking For

Work Schedule

• Part‑time and full‑time positions available
• Afternoon and after‑school sessions (Monday–Friday; optional weekend availability as needed)
• 15–25+ hours per week, based on your availability and client needs

Compensation

• $21–$25 per hour
