The overriding goal of PBS Corp Services is to enhance the autonomy and quality of life of individuals, and others who support them. Each PBS Corp client has a behavior support plan, and it is the responsibility of the behavior technician to work with caregivers and staff to implement strategies within this plan to achieve desired outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Assisting in restructuring environments and activities to support clients' behaviors
  • Teaching skills that enable effective communication and functioning
  • Reviewing behavior plans and instructional materials developed by BCBA/BCaBA
  • Implementing behavioral procedures for skill acquisition and reduction of problematic behaviors
  • Data collection as prescribed by the behavior analysis service plan
  • Communicating with behavior analysts and regional coordinators, including timely email responses
  • Completing daily progress notes related to intervention implementation
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma and at least 18 years old
  • Completion of RBT certification or willingness to enroll in PBS virtual training
  • Reside in the general area and have reliable transportation
  • Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills
  • Completion of all training outlined in the New Employee Checklist
