Job summary

National Therapy Center is seeking an Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our ABA team in Suitland, Maryland. This evening role runs from 4:00pm to 7:00pm and focuses on delivering one-on-one ABA therapy to children with ASD in the local area.

You will work under supervision of BCBAs, maintain accurate documentation, and ensure HIPAA-compliant handling of client information while collaborating with families for consistent progress.

Qualifications

• RBT certification required: 40-hour training, competency assessment, and BACB exam.
• Minimum 1 year ABA experience preferred.
• Availability after school hours (4pm–7pm).
• Reliable transportation to ensure on-time sessions.

Responsibilities

• Direct care: provide one-on-one ABA therapy during evening hours.
• Documentation and data collection: record progress and complete documentation within 48 hours.
• Confidentiality: maintain HIPAA-compliant handling of client information.
• Collaboration: work with families and BCBAs to ensure seamless care.
• Ongoing training and supervision: participate in ongoing development.

Join National Therapy Center's growing ABA team as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) and make a difference in the lives of children in Suitland, Maryland and surrounding area, during evening shifts (between 4:00pm to 7:00pm).

RBT Certification is required to be eligible for hire:

you must have completed 40-hour RBT training, passed a competency assessment with a qualified professional, and passed the official RBT exam administered by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).

Key Responsibilities

• Direct Care: Provide one-on-one ABA therapy during evening hours.
• Documentation & Data Collection: Accurately record client progress and maintain clinical documentation, completing all documentation within 48 hours of each session.
• Confidentiality: Ensure all client information is secure and HIPAA-compliant.
• Collaboration: Work closely with families and BCBAs to ensure seamless care.
• Ongoing Training & Supervision: Participate in continuous training and supervision to grow in your role.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in ABA or a related field preferred.
• Availability: Must have after school hour availability (4pm-7pm).
• Transportation: Reliable transportation to ensure on-time client sessions.
