Job summary

The Treetop in Hickory, NC seeks Registered Behavior Technicians to provide in-home and clinic ABA therapy to children with autism under BCBA supervision. You’ll deliver one-on-one sessions, collect data, and help develop communication, social, and daily living skills in familiar environments.

Position Overview

As an In-Home or Clinic Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), you will work one‑on‑one with children under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Your role will focus on helping children develop communication, behavioral, social, and daily living skills in supportive and familiar environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized ABA therapy sessions in clients’ homes or clinic settings
• Implement behavior intervention and skill acquisition programs
• Collect and record session data accurately using electronic medical records (EMR)
• Collaborate with caregivers and families to support treatment goals
• Maintain regular communication with supervising BCBAs and clinical staff
• Support positive behavior change through evidence‑based ABA strategies

Qualifications

Required

• Active RBT certification or completion of 40-hour RBT training course
• High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred

• TRICARE certification
• CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
