Healthier Mississippi People is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician to provide direct instructional services to clients based on individual behavior plans. The role includes developing and executing treatment plans, documenting sessions, and managing challenging behaviors.
The ideal candidate holds a BA or BS in Psychology or a related field, possesses strong communication and teaching skills, and is required to have RBT certification. This full-time position offers an essential role in supporting client development and safety.
Provide direct instructional services to clients, implementing and executing the recommendations, interventions, teaching procedures, etc. as derived and determined by each of the client’s VB‑MAPP and/or ABLLS‑R under the direct supervision of the BCBA. Knowledge of the principles and procedures of Applied Behavior Analysis. Knowledge Skinner’s Analysis of Verbal Behavior (preferred). Attendance at Verbal Behavior workshop preferable, oral and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, family/child relations, professionalism, time management, math aptitude, and presentation skills.

(Occasional‑up to 20%, frequent‑from 21% to 50%, constant‑51% or more)
Education and Experience: High School Diploma or Higher. BA or BS in Psychology or related field preferred.
Must have Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certification.
