Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Registered Behavior Technicians. The RBT will work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing behavior intervention plans under a BCBA's guidance and using evidence-based methods to teach essential skills.

We provide comprehensive training and a supportive team environment. The role requires physical ability to assist children and lifting up to 50 pounds. Pay ranges from $19 to $24 per hour.

Qualifications

• 18+ years of age
• High school diploma or GED
• CPR, First Aid Certification
• Ability to pass a pre employment background check
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.)
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Candidates must obtain an Registered Behavior Technician Certification after onboarding

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA guidance
• Work one-on-one with children to teach communication, social, and daily living skills
• Reduce interfering behaviors using evidence-based techniques
• Collaborate with team and BCBA to ensure consistent support for each child
