Job summary

Adapt for Life in Noblesville is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician to apply empirically based behavioral principles with clients in a supportive treatment team. You will implement ITPs, help clients acquire language, academic, self-help, and social skills, and collaborate with BCBA and staff to ensure quality care.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required; college preferred.
• Registered Behavior Technician certification or ability to become BC within 3 months.
• Experience with ABA, Medicaid, Waiver, and Private Insurance preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication across all levels of the organization.
• Proven leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and documentation abilities.
• Ability to develop programs aligned with ACSS goals.

Responsibilities

• Apply empirically based behavioral principles to clients.
• Implement Individualized Treatment Plans (ITPs) under supervision.
• Help clients acquire language, academic, self-help, and social skills.
• Assist with life skills and basic care activities as needed.
• Collaborate with team and contribute ideas and duties.
• Participate in staff training to improve skills.
• Communicate professionally with families and staff.
• Learn and apply VB-MAPP, ABLLS, and related assessments.
• Maintain accurate daily records and documentation.
• Work with clients, families, and community to implement plans.
• Reduce inappropriate behaviors and promote social skills.
• Respond to crises and manage aggressive incidents.
• Complete daily paperwork and data collection timely.
• Follow policies including HIPAA and confidentiality.
