Magical Moments ABA is hiring a part-time Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) in Georgia. You will provide direct client care in one-on-one and group settings under BCBA plans, collect data, and maintain a supportive environment for clients and families.

Responsibilities include collaborating with therapists and caregivers, recording appointments, and ensuring HIPAA compliance and professional communication. RBT certification is required and ABA experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• RBT certification is required.
• 6+ months ABA experience preferred.
• Knowledge of general ABA practices.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct client care in one-on-one and group settings per the BCBA treatment plan.
• Collect and record data on client behavior and progress.
• Maintain a safe, empathetic environment for clients and families.
• Collaborate and communicate with therapists, caregivers, and professionals for program implementation.
• Take direction and feedback from supervising staff (BCBA/BCaBA).
• Complete required training and adhere to guidelines and HIPAA policies.
• Record appointments and comply with billing policies.
• Communicate progress and findings with clients, parents, and caregivers.
• Adjust therapy plans with BCBAs based on progress.

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Responsibilities:

• Provide direct client care in one-on-one and group settings, following the protocols outlined in the treatment plan created by BCBA

• Collect and record data on client behavior and progress using Central Reach

• Maintain a safe, empathetic, and supportive environment for clients and families

• Work collaboratively and communicate professionally with other therapists, providers, BCBAs, caregivers, and other professionals for effective program implementation

• Ability to take direction and feedback from the supervising staff (BCBA/BCaBA)

• Complete required training related to organization guidelines, compliance, state and federal regulations

• Accurately record appointments in practice management software daily and comply with billing and payroll policies

• Adhere to RBT ethics code and ensures all patient privacy policies, HIPAA compliance and confidentiality

• Communicate with clients, parents, and caregivers regarding client progress and behavioral intervention findings

• Collaborate with BCBAs to adjust therapy plans based on client progress and emerging needs

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Qualifications:

• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required

• 6+ months of ABA experience preferred, but not required

• Knowledge of general ABA practices

• At least 18+ years of age

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
