Job summary

Magical Moments ABA in Virginia Beach is hiring a part-time Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to support our ABA therapy program for clients across families and schools. You will work under the supervision of BCBA/BCaBA, provide direct client care, collect data, and help implement treatment plans while maintaining HIPAA compliance and a compassionate, family-centered approach.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct client care one-on-one and in groups per BCBA plan
• Collect and record data on client behavior using Central Reach
• Maintain a safe, empathetic environment for clients and families
• Collaborate with therapists and caregivers for program implementation
• Take direction from supervising staff (BCBA/BCaBA)
• Complete required training on guidelines and regulations
• Record appointments daily and comply with billing/payroll policies, HIPAA
• Communicate progress and findings with clients and caregivers
• Adjust therapy plans with BCBAs as progress dictates

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Responsibilities:

• Provide direct client care in one-on-one and group settings, following the protocols outlined in the treatment plan created by BCBA
• Collect and record data on client behavior and progress using Central Reach
• Maintain a safe, empathetic, and supportive environment for clients and families
• Work collaboratively and communicate professionally with other therapists, providers, BCBAs, caregivers, and other professionals for effective program implementation
• Ability to take direction and feedback from the supervising staff (BCBA/BCaBA)
• Complete required training related to organization guidelines, compliance, state and federal regulations
• Accurately record appointments in practice management software daily and comply with billing and payroll policiesAdhere to RBT ethics code and ensures all patient privacy policies, HIPAA compliance and confidentiality
• Communicate with clients, parents, and caregivers regarding client progress and behavioral intervention findings
• Collaborate with BCBAs to adjust therapy plans based on client progress and emerging needs
