Job summary

Hello ABA in Elkridge, MD is seeking a compassionate Registered Behavior Technician for a part-time evening role (5-8 PM, Mon-Fri). You will provide one-on-one ABA therapy to children with autism in home and school settings, under supervision of a BCBA, with paid training and mentorship to help you grow.

You’ll build communication, social, daily living, and adaptive skills, track progress, and collaborate with families and teammates.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to work with children and support learning and behavioral goals.
• Willingness to complete RBT training and exam within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 ABA therapy to children with autism in home settings.
• Teach communication, social, daily living, and adaptive skills.
• Implement behavior plans designed by a BCBA in your role as an RBT.
• Track progress and collect session data accurately.
• Collaborate with BCBAs, families, and teammates.
• Continue developing your skills through ongoing RBT training and support.

What We’re Looking For

• Passion for working with children and helping others succeed
• Compassionate, dependable, and positive attitude
• Experience in childcare, autism support, or special education is a plus
• Willingness to complete RBTtraining and pass the exam within 90 days
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and auto insurance
• Current RBTcertification preferred (but not required—we’ll help you get there)
