Job summary

Hand Over Hand LLC in Oakland, NJ, is seeking an RBT/BT for a full-time center-based role. You will provide 1:1 and small-group ABA services, implement treatment plans under BCBA direction, and help children develop essential communication, social, and daily living skills.

You will work with BCBAs and a supportive clinical team in a structured environment, with competitive compensation, training, and certification support to grow professionally.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• Previous experience working with children (required).
• Experience with autism/developmental disabilities preferred.
• ABA, childcare, preschool, education, or behavioral health experience a plus.
• Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings.
• Ability to lift 40–50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and small-group ABA services in a center-based environment.
• Implement individualized treatment plans under the direction of a BCBA using reinforcement, prompting, NET, and DTT.
• Help children develop communication, social, emotional, behavioral, adaptive, and daily living skills while building independence and confidence.
• Accurately collect and record data, document sessions, and communicate observations and progress to the clinical team.
• Collaborate with BCBAs, clinical leadership, families, and team members to support consistent, high-quality care.
• Follow clinical protocols and maintain a safe, positive, engaging environment for every child.
• Participate in supervision, team meetings, ongoing training, and professional development to strengthen clinical skills.
• Maintain confidentiality and uphold all ethical and professional standards.

If You are an RBT

• Active RBT certification through the BACB is required.

If You are a BT (Not an RBT yet)…No Problem

• RBT certification is required within the first four months of employment.
  • Hand Over Hand will provide support and guidance toward obtaining RBT certification.
