Job summary

Hand Over Hand LLC seeks RBTs/BTs to provide 1:1 ABA services in home, school, and community settings in Secaucus, NJ. You will work under BCBA supervision, implementing individualized plans and helping clients develop communication, social, and daily living skills.

We offer flexible schedules, RBT certification support, paid training, BCBA supervision, and a clear path for certification. Competitive pay from $25 to $35 per hour, with growth opportunities within a collaborative clinical team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year of ABA and previous experience with autism/developmental disabilities.
• Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings.
• Ability to lift 40–50 lbs.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for travel between client locations.
• Compassionate, dependable, team-oriented, and open to feedback.
• Comfortable working independently in home, school, and community environments.
• Commitment to professional standards and ongoing development.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 ABA services in home, school, and community settings.
• Implement individualized treatment plans under the direction of a BCBA using evidence-based strategies (reinforcement, prompting, NET, DTT, task analysis).
• Help individuals develop communication, social, emotional, behavioral, adaptive, and daily living skills.
• Support skill development and independence across everyday environments and routines.
• Accurately collect and record data, complete session documentation, and communicate observations to the clinical team.
• Collaborate with BCBAs, clinical leadership, families, caregivers, teachers, and other team members to provide high-quality care.
• Participate in supervision, team meetings, ongoing training, and professional development.
• Maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical and professional standards.

What You Bring & Who You Are:

If You Are an RBT:

• Active RBT certification through the BACB is required.

If You Are a BT (Not an RBT Yet…No Problem!):

• RBT certification is required within the first four months of employment.
• Hand Over Hand will provide support and guidance toward obtaining RBT certification.
• Receive an increase in compensation after becoming RBT certified.
