Job summary

Something New ABA Therapy seeks a compassionate In-Home Behavior Technician to provide 1:1 ABA therapy in clients' homes, under BCBA supervision, using evidence-based techniques to build essential life skills.

You will implement individualized plans, collect data, and maintain professional and confidential interactions with families, caregivers, and supervisors within a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid certification.
• Ability to pass background checks.
• Comfortable with physical activity: standing, walking, squatting, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Experience working with children.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
• Strong communication and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently in home setting.

Responsibilities

Something New ABA Therapy is seeking a compassionate and dependable In-Home Behavior Technician to provide 1:1 behavioral therapy to children diagnosis with autism in their homes helping them build essential life skills to reach their full potential by using evidence-based techniques. RBT/ Behavior Technicians work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement individualized treatment plans using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).

Job Responsibilities

Under the direct supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), you will:

• Provide 1:1 ABA therapy to client diagnosis with autism
• Implement behavior intervention plans as written
• Collect accurate data during sessions
• Maintain professionalism and client confidentiality
• Communicate regularly with supervisors and caregivers

Requirements:

• Must be 18 years or older.
