Job summary

AWARE is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician in Livingston, MT for full-time hours. The role focuses on delivering ABA-based interventions to support clients and families in the community.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or HSE required.
• Montana Driver’s License with clean driving record.
• Background check completed prior to hire.

Responsibilities

• Prompts safe and socially acceptable replacement behaviors to build communication, social interaction, and problem solving skills.
• Increases the frequency or duration of safe replacement behaviors by providing reinforces (items, attention, or removal of demands).
• Accurately collects behavior data including A-B-C, frequency, duration, latency, and interval recording.
• Follows treatment plan goals and interventions with appropriate consultation.
• Collaborates with family and treatment team to provide effective care without disruption to environment.
• Educates team and families about ABA and the RBT role and its boundaries.

Registered Behavior Technician - $19.00 - $23.59 per hour to start. AWARE - Livingston, MT - Full Time

AWARE is looking for the right person to join the team as a registered behavior technician.

Responsibilities

• Prompts safe and socially acceptable replacement behaviors in order to build a repertoire of communication, social interaction, and problem solving skills;
• Increases the frequency or duration of safe and appropriate replacement behaviors by providing access to reinforcers (desired items/actions, attention, or removal of demands/aversive situations);
• Accurately collects behavior data including A-B-C, count, frequency, duration, latency, event, and interval based recording;
• Follows the treatment plan goals and interventions utilizing sound judgment and seeks out appropriate consultation;
• Collaborates with family and treatment team members to provide treatment effectively and without disruption to the environment or other individuals in the environment;
• Educates all those involved about the role of ABA based interventions and the RBT, and functions within boundaries of the RBT role in providing treatment.

Requirements

Talents, skills, and abilities

• Interpersonal oral and written communications skills to work as a team member, to make observations and to report them accurately, to learn behavioral and clinical, methods, and to follow oral and written instructions and have the ability to facilitate meetings;
• High School Diploma or HSE is required;
• A valid Montana Driver’s License or the ability to obtain one, and an acceptable driving record;
• An acceptable criminal and protective services background check.
