Glenwood is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician to join their team at the Avondale Children’s Center. Glenwood has an opportunity to work in our newly expanded Avondale Children’s Center as a Registered Behavior Technician/RBT serving children ages 2-6 with autism spectrum disorder. The role involves providing 1:1 early intensive behavioral intervention (EIBI), including naturalistic teaching, incidental teaching, and discrete-trial training. RBTs will collaborate closely with Behavior Analysts to ensure materials and programs are current and effective, assist in data collection and decision-making, programming for skill generalization, parent training, behavior assessment, and social skills development.
Qualifications include being at least 18 years old, having a high school diploma or equivalent, with preferred experience working with children with disabilities. Valid Alabama driver’s license, clearance through relevant child abuse and background checks, and certification in First Aid and CPR are required.
