The RBT credential is a professional credential for paraprofessionals offered through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB). It is required for individuals providing services on any Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) or insurance-based contracts.

This position involves working with children and young adults diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorders 1:1 in the home, community, and at The Wall Center for ABA Services.

Flexible Scheduling:

• Part-time positions available
• Shifts available Monday through Friday and weekends if desired
• Mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends shifts available

Qualifications for Registered Behavior Technician (RBT):

• One year experience working with children with developmental or intellectual disabilities preferred, but not required
• CPR/FA certification

Responsibilities for Registered Behavior Technician (RBT):

• Work directly with clients and follow established treatment and behavior support plans to implement skill acquisition and behavior reduction procedures
• Establish and maintain supportive, therapeutic relationships with clients and families
• Respect clients' and families' values, thoughts, beliefs, and attitudes
• Implement behavior therapy techniques as instructed by the Behavioral Services Manager and Behavior Specialist
• Accurately document interventions and progress towards goals in a timely manner
• Collect behavior data as specified in the client behavior support plan
• Review data and progress reports with the Behavioral Services Manager and Behavior Specialist to strategize program improvements
• Provide habilitation, training, instruction, and assistance to help clients acquire and maintain skills and meet goals, as applicable
• Provide transportation related to activities as directed by the treatment plan, if applicable
• Support clients in developing interpersonal skills, personal relationships, and community living
• Monitor health status and physical condition, reporting any changes or incidents
