Job summary

Magical Moments ABA in Tucker, GA is seeking a part-time Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to support one-on-one and small group sessions, following BCBA-designed plans. You will collect progress data using Central Reach and ensure a safe, supportive environment for clients and families.

We value HIPAA privacy, ongoing professional development, and strong collaboration with BCBAs, caregivers, and other therapists to optimize treatment plans and client outcomes.

Qualifications

• RBT certification required.
• 6+ months ABA experience preferred, but not required.
• Bilingual preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of general ABA practices.
• At least 18+ years of age.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct client care in 1:1 and group settings, following BCBA treatment plan.
• Collect and record data on client behavior and progress using Central Reach.
• Maintain a safe, empathetic, and supportive environment for clients and families.
• Collaborate with therapists, providers, BCBAs, caregivers, and others for program implementation.
• Take direction and feedback from supervising staff (BCBA/BCaBA).
• Complete required training on guidelines, compliance, regulations.
• Record appointments and comply with billing and payroll policies.
• Adhere to RBT ethics, HIPAA privacy and confidentiality policies.
• Communicate with clients, parents, and caregivers about progress.
• Collaborate with BCBAs to adjust therapy plans as needed.

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Responsibilities:

• Provide direct client care in one-on-one and group settings, following the protocols outlined in the treatment plan created by BCBA

• Collect and record data on client behavior and progress using Central Reach

• Maintain a safe, empathetic, and supportive environment for clients and families

• Work collaboratively and communicate professionally with other therapists, providers, BCBAs, caregivers, and other professionals for effective program implementation

• Ability to take direction and feedback from the supervising staff (BCBA/BCaBA)

• Complete required training related to organization guidelines, compliance, state and federal regulations

• Accurately record appointments in practice management software daily and comply with billing and payroll policies

• Adhere to RBT ethics code and ensures all patient privacy policies, HIPAA compliance and confidentiality

• Communicate with clients, parents, and caregivers regarding client progress and behavioral intervention findings

• Collaborate with BCBAs to adjust therapy plans based on client progress and emerging needs
