Job summary

Tellos in North Carolina seeks a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to implement individualized ABA treatment plans under the supervision of a BCBA. You will help clients develop essential skills and improve daily living in home settings.

Responsibilities include data collection, assisting with assessments, delivering compassionate 1:1 therapy, collaborating with BCBAs, Speech and Occupational Therapists, and participating in ongoing training to ensure high-quality care.

Qualifications

• RBT certification preferred or obtainable.
• Minimum 6 months experience with children with autism or developmental disabilities.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to helping clients.

• Assist with functional and skill assessments.
• Provide 1:1 direct ABA therapy in a home setting.

• Maintain client confidentiality and adhere to BACB guidelines.

Job Description

As a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), you will be responsible for implementing individualized treatment plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). You will play a crucial role in helping our clients develop essential skills and improve their overall quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized ABA treatment plans designed by a BCBA
• Collect and record data on client progress and behavior
• Assist with functional behavior assessments and skill assessments
• Provide 1:1 direct ABA therapy to clients in a home setting
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including BCBAs, Speech Therapists, and Occupational Therapists
• Attend team meetings and participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities
• Maintain client confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines established by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)

Requirements

• Registered Behavior Technician Certification or Behavior Technician strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 6 months experience working with children with autism or other developmental disabilities (preferred)
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to pass a background check
• Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to helping improve the lives of clients
• High school diploma or equivalent
