A successful behavior technician demonstrates reliability, patience, and a strong commitment to supporting the growth and independence of each client.

Qualifications include a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, professionalism, creativity, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and strong communication skills. A high school diploma or equivalent is required.

  • Flexible scheduling accommodations
  • Medical, vision, and dental benefits for full-time employees

Professional Development and Incentive Opportunities

Each behavior technician receives access to 40 hours of Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) training at no cost, fulfilling the first step required for RBT certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).

The incentive structure includes:

  • A $1 per hour raise for maintaining consistent availability for 90 consecutive days
  • An additional $2 per hour raise upon successful completion of the full RBT certification process

The position also features a clear cancellation policy to protect technicians' time and earnings, with paid cancellations if a session is canceled within 30 minutes or less of the scheduled start time after the technician has arrived.
