Summary

The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) provides direct behavioral intervention services to individuals diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and related developmental disabilities under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). The RBT implements individualized treatment plans using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles to promote skill acquisition, reduce challenging behaviors, and support client independence across clinical settings.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, or related field preferred).
• Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
• Completion of required competency assessment and background clearances.
• Ability to pass CPR/First Aid certification (or obtain upon hire).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow detailed treatment protocols consistently.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with children or individuals with autism or developmental disabilities.
• Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles.
• Experience in clinical, educational, or therapeutic settings.

Education and Experience
