Job summary

Achieving Stars Therapy is seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician to join our team to provide in-home and community-based ABA services to individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism. This in-person role emphasizes hands-on support and data collection to guide behavior plans.

As an RBT, you will implement plans under supervision, maintain confidential records, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and travel to Cleveland area clients on a schedule that includes weekday

Qualifications

• Experience with individuals with developmental disabilities, especially autism.
• Knowledge of ABA principles and techniques.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Understanding of HIPAA and confidentiality of medical records.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Implement behavior intervention plans as directed by BCBA.
• Collect data on client behavior during sessions.
• Assist in development and implementation of care plans.
• Utilize ABA techniques to teach new skills and manage behaviors.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records.

• Utilize applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques to teach new skills and manage challenging behaviors

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure effective care coordination

Skills
