Achieving Stars Therapy is seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician to join our team. This in-home and community-based ABA provider supports individuals with autism by implementing behavior plans under BCBA supervision and collecting data during sessions.

In-person role in Warrensville Heights, OH with travel as needed. Requires a high school diploma, 1 year of relevant experience, and strong communication. Competitive pay: $18–$25 per hour.

Responsibilities

Job Overview:

Achieving Stars Therapy is seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician to join our team. As a Behavior Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing support and assistance to individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly autism, by providing in-home and community based ABA services. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of those you work with.

Responsibilities:

• Implement behavior intervention plans as directed by the supervising Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
• Collect data on client behavior during sessions
• Assist in the development and implementation of care plans
• Utilize applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques to teach new skills and manage challenging behaviors
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure effective care coordination

Skills:

• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly autism
• Knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles and techniques
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
• Understanding of HIPAA regulations and maintaining confidentiality of medical records
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Must be at least 18 years of age
