Job summary

Autism Learning Partners is seeking a caring part-time Behavioral Technician to support children in-home and at centers. You will teach communication and social skills through play, while maintaining energy and focus throughout sessions.

Required: high school diploma, 6+ months experience with kids, Spanish fluency, and reliable transportation. Training is provided, including a path to RBT certification and CPR/CPI compliance.

Qualifications

• Spanish fluency is required.
• High School Diploma or GED completed and at least one semester of college coursework.
• 6+ months of experience with kids (paid or volunteer).
• Reliable car, driver's license, and insurance.
• Pass background and health checks; complete mandatory training including 40 hours of RBT training, CPR, CPI.

Sessions will be scheduled within this timeframe based on client needs.Work Setting — you’ll primarily provide services in client’s homes, with some sessions held in our local centers depending on your client’s needsDaily pay access available so you can get paid as you earnCompensation: $21-$26.75/hrNote: Spanish fluency is required. Spanish speakers earn an additional $0.50/hr.We'll help you earn your Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification - earn an additional $2.00 an hour upon completion.What You’ll NeedHigh School Diploma or GED completed AND at least one semester of college coursework (or currently enrolled in college courses)6+ months of experience with kids (paid or volunteer — babysitting counts!)Reliable car, driver’s license, and insuranceWillingness to pass background and health checksSuccessful completion of mandatory training which includes: New Hire Orientation, 40 hours of RBT training, Skills Practice, CPR, CPI, and overlaps.
