Job summary

A behavioral health organization in Jacksonville, Florida is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide quality care to children on the autism spectrum. You will work one-on-one with clients, implement behavior analysis techniques, and maintain necessary certifications. Qualifications

  • Minimum of a Highschool Diploma required; Bachelor's preferred.
  • Valid CPR certification is essential before starting sessions.
  • Experience with Autism Spectrum Disorder preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Work 1:1 with children who have special needs in various settings.
  • Run skill acquisition programs as developed by the BCBA.
  • Observe and track behaviors using data collection methods.
  • Learn and implement PECs and/or assistive technology.
  • Intervene with problem behavior according to the treatment plan.
  • Write session notes post-session.
  • Participate in company and team meetings.
  • Travel to different locations as needed.
  • Maintain RBT credential requirements as set by the BACB.
  • Ensure confidentiality according to HIPAA guidelines.
  • Meet physical requirements including kneeling and lifting.

Responsibilities

  • Attend and participate in company meetings, team meeting, and/or trainings.

  • Maintain confidentiality according to HIPAA guidelines
  • Reliable transportation
  • Physical requirements include but is not limited to: kneeling, bending, lifting up to 50 Ibs, running, walking, and standing.
Education and Work Experience
  • Minimum of a Highschool Diploma, preferred bachelor's degree
  • Valid CPR certification is required prior to starting sessions.
  • Experience working with individuals diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder preferred
