Job summary

Achievers AB is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our ABA team in Indiana. You will provide one-on-one therapy, implement behavior plans under supervision, and collect data on client progress.

This position emphasizes collaboration with BCBA and peers to ensure consistent treatment, while helping clients build social, communication, and daily living skills in a supportive setting.

Qualifications

• RBT certification is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles is a plus.
• Ability to follow instructions and implement behavior plans.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Patience, empathy and compassion when working with children.

Responsibilities

• Implement behavior intervention plans under supervision.
• Provide direct one-on-one therapy to individuals with ASD.
• Collect and record data on client progress and behavior.
• Collaborate with BCBA and team to ensure consistent treatment.
• Support clients in developing social, communication, and daily living skills.
• Use positive reinforcement to encourage desired behaviors.

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Responsibilities:

• Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
• Provide direct one-on-one therapy to individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD)
• Collect and record data on client progress and behavior - Assist with the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans
• Collaborate with the BCBA and other team members to ensure consistency in treatment approach
• Support clients in developing and improving social, communication, and daily living skills
• Use positive reinforcement techniques to encourage desired behaviors
• Maintain a safe and supportive environment for clients

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Experience:

• Previous experience working with individuals with autism or related developmental disabilities is preferred but not required
• Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and techniques is a plus
• Ability to follow instructions and implement behavior intervention plans effectively
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Patience, empathy, and compassion when working with individuals with special needs
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
