$20.00/hr - $25.00/hr

About the Organization

We are seeking Registered Behavior Technicians available Monday - Friday. Autism Deaf Empowerment Advocacy Foundation, Inc. works directly with children with autism to implement behavior programs and train family members. We specialize in autism, skill delays, behavioral challenges, toileting, and feeding issues, aiming to meet the individual needs of our clients and help them function effectively across home, school, and community settings.

Role Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children diagnosed with autism in various settings including homes, schools, and community locations (e.g., stores, parks, malls).
• Implement behavior plans and train caregivers on their execution.
• Provide services primarily in the afternoons, evenings, and occasionally on weekends or at school sites.
• Support clients across a range of ages from 2 years to adults.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Board-certified BACB Behavior Technicians preferred; training provided if needed.
• Spanish speaking skills are a plus.
• Tricare certification is a plus (especially for working with military families).
• Must hold a RBT certificate and BLS certification.
• High school diploma required.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance required.
• Background check required.

Job Details

• Type: Contract, full or part-time.
• Pay: $20-$25/hour depending on experience.
• Training: 40 hours of Applied Behavior Analysis training, typically 2 weeks.
