Job summary

Our Child Therapy in Virginia seeks a dedicated Behavior Technician to deliver Applied Behavior Analysis services to children and their families. You will implement treatment plans, collect data, and educate parents to support progress.

This part-time role (10 hours) requires collaboration with BCBA and Clinical Director, on-site client visits at Chesapeake, VA. CPR/First Aid certification preferred; training provided if needed.

Qualifications

• Requires experience with children and reliable transportation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred, training provided for ABA role.

Responsibilities

• Work effectively with children and families.
• Collaborate with BCBA and Clinical Director.
• Conduct data collection and maintain session reports.
• Implement behavior-based treatment plans.
• Educate parents on classroom support techniques.
• Ensure safety and quality care for clients.
• Establish professional relationships with parents and community resources.

Job Description:

We’re seeking a passionate, experienced Behavior Technician to join our team! In this role, you’ll work closely with children and families, delivering Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services. You’ll play a vital role in implementing behavior-based treatment plans, educating parents, and conducting data collection. Job Type:

Part-Time (10 Hours)
Salary:$24.00 - $28.00 per hour
Schedule: Tuesday & Friday (1pm-5pm) & Every other Sunday (8am-10am)

Work Location:

In-Person / Client Home/Daycare - Chesapeake VA 23320

Responsibilities:

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred
• Experience with children and strong people skills
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license required
• Ability to lift 30 lbs. regularly
• Strong communication skills (verbal & written)
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred
• Experience with Autism Spectrum Disorders preferred, but not required (training provided)
