Job summary

Constellation Health Services seeks a Registered Behavior Technician to deliver ABA-based interventions in home, clinic, and school settings. You will implement strategies, collect data, train caregivers, and coordinate with a BCBA to ensure individualized plans are followed.

You will document progress, communicate with families and professionals, and support transitions across services while maintaining high standards of safety and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a human services field from an accredited university.
• One year of direct relevant experience working with youth and families who require behavior management to address mental health needs.
• Strong organization and communication skills are required.
• Registered Behavior Technician certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Plans and implements intervention strategies under the supervision of a BCBA.
• Records and tracks data from training sessions and progress notes.
• Provides parent and caregiver training in line with individualized treatment plans.
• Assists with transition between agencies, programs, and professionals as service provision changes.
• Communicates progress to parents, caregivers, and administrators as required.

Job Description SummaryThe Registered Behavioral Technician will provide clinical skills instruction and behavior reduction protocols based upon the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis. Clients include children with Autism and related developmental disabilities in the home, community, clinic, and school settings. The Behavioral Technician will collect data on programs and assist with parent training. The RBT works under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst.The principles of behavior analysis are to treat patients who have difficulties with socially significant behaviors.
