Job summary

Auberle is seeking a Central Pennsylvania Employment Institute Manager to expand our nationally recognized workforce development program. You will partner with businesses to place young adults (ages 18–24) into healthcare and other industry roles, supporting placement and retention while growing the program regionally.

Specific duties include recruiting participants, measuring success, traveling frequently, and guiding case managers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; related experience considered.
• ACT 33/34 and FBI clearances.
• Valid PA driver’s license, vehicle, and proof of insurance.
• Reliable transportation for frequent travel across multiple counties.
• Meet the required skills and abilities described herein.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the recruitment of participants involved in the Employment Institute’s programs and services.
• Develop aggressive success measures focused on participants gaining and keeping career-level jobs.
• Travel approximately 75% of the time to meet participants, community partners, and employer partners in person.
• Execute on expected contract goals, including job placement and retention outcomes.
• Motivate case managers with positive reinforcement and help them develop their skills and abilities to create innovative solutions for individuals to succeed at securing and keeping good-paying positions.
• Supervise and delegate tasks/projects to assigned Employment Institute case managers.
• Work with the Director of the Employment Institute to manage and grow the program according to regional economic needs.
• Use strong communication skills to establish and manage relationships with businesses and other agencies.
• Assist in the development, oversight, achievement, and reporting of program goals and related data points.
• Learn and implement trauma-informed approaches to service delivery and agency culture.
• Create and maintain a positive, inclusive culture based on respect that builds a diverse staff of high performers who deliver excellence and agency pride.
• Promote the Continuous Quality Improvement philosophy at Auberle and maintain all Quality Improvement goals and objectives.
